The Competition Format

The first stage consists of an online technical quiz, selecting 8 technicians who qualify for the final round.
The final stage features a series of practical challenges on espresso machines, where participants face simulated malfunctions, adjustments, and real technical interventions—mirroring everyday work scenarios.
Speed, precision, machine knowledge, and operational efficiency are put to the test.. Performances are evaluated by technical judges, based on criteria such as workplace safety and organization, technical expertise, and the ability to consistently deliver excellent coffee quality.
